When we move to a new place, we all require the basic essential services to keep running our life smoothly. Now you can apply for almost any services from the ease of your home. You can also apply for a new Bharat Gas connection online. LPG Liquefied Petroleum Gas is used as a cooking fuel connection and is the source to cook you’re your meals and food in the Indian homes.

LPG has a number of providers supplying the product in the Indian market, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (Bharat Gas Connection) is one of them. You can now complete all formalities online at your convenience.

All you need to do is keep a scanned copy of your Photograph, Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) ready before you start filling in the application either as JPG or PDF file separately for each document (file size for each should not exceed 500 KB for each document). Once your registration is cleared for the release of the LPG connection, you can choose to pay online and complete the process. In case you do not have scanned copies of your photograph, POI & POA, you can still apply online and submit the photograph and copies of POI and POA to the distributor, along with the printed copy of your online application.

Documents required for KYC:

• A valid photo ID that you will mention in the registration form
• Ration Card or valid residence proof that you will mention in the registration form

• On your browser log on to the Bharat Gas Website.
• On the home page, tap on the “new user” option.
• Now fill up all the required details (your name and mobile number) to begin the registration process.
• To register your number with Bharat Gas, download the form and fill it from the link here.
• Then fill in the details required.
• You will receive an SMS with your login details confirming your registration to sign in to your account.
• Now sign in to your account and select the “new domestic LPG connection” option.
• Fill in the online form with the details requested. Once you have entered all the details requested, click on the “submit” button.
• You will have to upload the supporting documents or you can choose to submit them to your nearest gas distributor.
• You will receive updates on the status of your application online, and receive a notification once it has been registered.
